# Stephan's Digital Garden
Dear reader,
by whatever means, you found your way here, and I welcome you to my own little, personal space on the world wide web.
On here, you can find notes on whatever crosses my mind. It can be anything from random thoughts to more focused notes on my interests, especially (digital) art.
In a way, this is a looser extension of my blog on my website, [stephanlevin.com](https://www.stephanlevin.com), freed from any requirements or expectations.
## What is a Digital Garden?
A digital garden is a collection of thoughts and ideas, often focused, as in my case, on personal interests or studies. It's basically a blend between a digital notebook and a public blog, with content that cultivates and grows over time, like a seed planted in a garden.
Unlike a blog, which typically follows a linear structure, a digital garden uses non-linear connections, linking related notes through internal links to form an interconnected web of thoughts.
## Why?
As someone who grew up fairly withdrawn from my immediate social environment around me, I always enjoyed writing about my state of mind and sharing thoughts publicly, as it made me felt seen. Generally , I've always adored expressing myself through any available medium, but especially through writing. Thus I've always maintained at least one platform to serve as a window into my emotional world, and this digital garden is now dedicated to fulfilling that purpose.
Additionally, I also believe that we can always learn something from one another, and by creating and leaving this window opened, I hope this digital garden contributes to that idea.
## Who am I?
I'm a 25 years old (digital) artist, still navigating that very question myself. I'm also an avid writer and a passionate author of my own state of mind. Besides, I believe this question might be better answered by the content you find on this site, especially as it grows.
You can find my artwork and personal blog (which focuses on more on art related themes) on my portfolio website [stephanlevin.com](https://www.stephanlevin.com).
